Health Coverage Explainers

About

Health Coverage publishes English-language explainers for people in the United States who need to read a coverage document. HALOX is the author. HALOX Co. publishes the site.

The site clock is America/New York.

What we cover

Three lanes:

  • How it works — Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, and how Original Medicare sits next to Advantage.
  • Papers and enrollment — confirmation letters, open enrollment windows, employer coverage, and individual Marketplace plans.
  • What people mix up — pairings that get treated as one thing, starting with an EOB and a bill, and Advantage versus a Supplement.

We explain coverage papers, not clinical care. We do not review drugs, devices, or prescribing. We do not sell insurance, enroll anyone, or decide a claim.

If a sentence reads like advice to pick, drop, or appeal a plan, treat the Disclaimer as the governing note.

How to read the site

Start with the live explainers on the home page. Each piece defines the term, names the usual mix-up, and points to the line on the real document.

House rules live on Terms, Privacy, and Contact.
